Faith-led, Healing, Empowerment, and Restoration
NIKAO (ni-KAH-oh) is a Greek word meaning “to conquer, prevail, and gain the victory through the power of another.” That “other” is Jesus Christ.
Nikao Women and Girls Rising–Higher is a faith-based nonprofit community dedicated to guiding women and girls through transformative healing journeys. NIKAO exists as a sacred space where pain meets purpose and restoration takes root. Through the power of Christ, we help each person reclaim their voice, worth, and identity.
Restored to Restore: The Woman Behind NIKAO
Connie Gober, founder of NIKAO Women and Girls Rising–Higher, is a faith-driven visionary, licensed healthcare professional, and leader with over a decade of experience in healthcare and more than 10 years in mentorship, empowerment, and community care. A survivor of emotional betrayal and spiritual abandonment, Connie emerged not as a victim but as a voice for women who have suffered in silence, equipping them to rise higher, heal deeply, and walk boldly in God’s purpose for their lives. Her calling is clear: to guide women from hidden pain to healing, and from survival to spiritual strength. From her personal journey of resilience and restoration, she built NIKAO to help women and girls reclaim their voice, worth, and freedom in Christ. What began as her own healing has become a mission to uplift generations, because your past does not cancel God’s purpose for your life.

Healing Programs Rooted in Faith and Real-Life Experience
We offer a range of programs tailored to support women and girls aged 13–21 in healing from trauma, betrayal, and emotional wounds. Each program is crafted to nurture identity, build resilience, and foster deep transformation.
Cinema & Conversation Coaching
Group coaching sessions for women overcoming betrayal, trauma, and divorce, using storytelling and film to spark powerful breakthroughs.
Peer Coaching for Girls (Ages 13–21)
Mentorship and peer-to-peer support that creates safe, relatable spaces for young women to grow in confidence and faith.
Individual and Group Coaching
One-on-one or small group sessions tailored to address personal challenges, spiritual growth, and emotional healing.
Healing Retreats, Workshops, and Mentorship
